Nasi Lemak is one of the most famous foods in Malaysia. Nasi Lemak is a rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaves commonly found in Malaysia, and  it also considered the must-have dish in Brunei, Singapore, Riau Islands and Southern Thailand. Assam Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from the Peranakan culture, which is a combination of Chinese and Malay elements found in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Assam Laksa is one of the well-known hawker foods in Malaysia. Assam Laksa has been ranked 6th most delicious food in the world by CNN. It is normally served together with hardboiled eggs, pineapples, cucumbers and ginger buds. Assam Laksa is also considered a healthy food as it doesn’t make use of any oil. Satay, is one of the popular hawker foods in Malaysia and is a dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with a peanut sauce. Hainan chicken rice is a Chinese dish. The original recipe comes from Hainan, the smallest province in the Republic of China. This well-known dish has now become a mouthwatering delicacy for most Malaysians. The unique feature of Hainan Chicken Rice is its soft and moist chicken fillet. The chicken is boiled and steamed with specific ingredients to add taste to the meat. Hainan Chicken Rice is served with a fragrant rice and soy ,garlic and chili sauces as the dipping. Roti Canai is an Indian-influenced bread that can be found almost anywhere in Malaysia. This dish comes from Kerala Porotta, which is famous in India ffor its flat breads. It is often sold in Mamak (Indian Muslim) restaurants. Special fillings can be added to Roti Canai such as sardine fish, eggs, bananas,as well as a meat and potato mixture. Roti Canai is normally served with fish curry, dhal curry and spicy chili grounded gravy (sambal) as the dipping. Roti Canai is a famous food among Malaysians.
